Kolbe Eucharistic Apostolate, The

Dedicated to Mary, we promote devotion to Jesus Christ, truly present in the Holy Eucharist. Through the Prayer Apostolate, Eucharistic Adoration, and faith formation, we witness our love for Christ and our Catholic faith with others. BACKGROUND: The KOLBE EUCHARISTIC APOSTOLATE originated (1996) as monthly Eucharistic Mini-Retreats at St. Brigid's Parish. In 2006, faith formation classes (Know Your Faith Series) began. We are under the assistance of Father Charles Anang (spiritual advisor); Father F. X. Johnson S.J. (Mini-Retreat chaplain); the pastors of St. Brigid's, Holy Cross and Blessed Trinity Parishes; and guest priest speakers throughout Toronto. PROGRAMS AVAILABLE: 1. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION at monthly KOLBE EUCHARISTIC MINI-RETREATS is the heart and centre of this Apostolate, with inspiring priests also offering faith formation and spiritual growth. 2.PRAYER APOSTOLATE: Each day we strive to incorporate four daily practices in our spiritual formation: prayer (especially for priests); daily conversion; faith formation; and witness of our faith. 3.KNOW YOUR FAITH SERIES: Faith formation classes (incorporating Scripture, Catechism of the Catholic Church, Church documents) includes Catholic fellowship. MEMBERSHIP: Anyone desiring to deepen their love of God and their Catholic faith through prayer and faith formation in adherence with the teaching of the Catholic Church is welcome.
